Update on the Chase Bank Account Release

Dear ICCD Community Members,

We want to update you on an important matter regarding the Chase Bank accounts that hold the donations and funds entrusted to ICCD by our community.

Two years ago, the Chase account was frozen after certain individuals attempted to take control of the account using fraudulent documentation. Today, those same individuals are refusing to sign the unconditional release form required by Chase Bank to return access of the account to the ICCD President and Treasurer, as mandated by the ICCD Bylaws and by the bank which lead to a lawsuit field by the Chase bank.

This release is necessary for ICCD to regain control of the community’s funds — funds that belong to our stakeholders, donors, and the masjid itself. Any delay directly harms the future operations and stability of ICCD.

Members Who Have Already Signed the Release

  • Imad Achmar
  • Ghulam Farooqi
  • Mushtaq Khan
  • Amin Vali

Members Whose Signatures Are Still Required

  • Asif Iqbal
  • Muqueet Juniad Abdul
  • Fayiaz Farre Hassan
  • Azeemullah Syed
  • Raziuddin Mohammed

We strongly encourage all community members to speak with these individuals and urge them to sign the release immediately and unconditionally, as required by Chase Bank. Their refusal is jeopardizing the financial stability and future of our masjid.

This matter affects every member of ICCD. Your involvement and voice can help resolve this issue swiftly and responsibly.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to protecting our community.

Imad Achmar – President
