Our Mission

The Facilities Committee is entrusted with safeguarding the physical integrity and functionality of ICCD’s sacred spaces. We ensure that our masjid, school, and community areas remain safe, welcoming, and spiritually uplifting for all who enter.

What We Do

Our responsibilities include:

• Maintenance & Repairs: Overseeing routine upkeep of buildings, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all facilities meet legal codes, safety standards, and accessibility requirements.
• Grounds & Cleanliness: Managing landscaping, snow removal, and janitorial services to maintain a clean and serene environment.
• Project Oversight: Supporting capital improvements such as parking expansion, fiber internet installation, and future construction.
• Vendor Coordination: Working with contractors and service providers to deliver quality and cost-effective solutions.
• Event Support: Preparing spaces for major ICCD events, Jumu’ah prayers, and educational programs.

Why It Matters

A well-maintained facility reflects the dignity of our faith and the care we extend to our community. From the prayer hall to the classrooms, every corner of ICCD should embody ihsan (excellence) and hospitality.
