The Membership Committee at the Islamic Community Center of Des Plaines (ICCD) serves as the gateway to meaningful community participation. Our role is to welcome new members, maintain accurate records, and ensure that every individual who joins ICCD feels valued, informed, and connected. Guided by Islamic principles of unity, trust, and mutual responsibility, we strive to build a membership base that reflects the diversity and strength of our ummah.

• Membership Enrollment
  We facilitate the registration process for new members, ensuring clarity around rights, responsibilities, and benefits.

  We maintain secure and up-to-date records of active members, including contact information, family profiles, and voting eligibility.

• Member Engagement
  We help connect members to ICCD programs, committees, and volunteer opportunities that match their interests and skills.

• Annual Renewal & Verification
  We oversee the renewal process to ensure continued engagement and eligibility for participation in governance matters.

• Voting & Governance Support
  We verify membership status for elections, general assemblies, and other decision-making processes in accordance with ICCD bylaws.

📝 How to Become a Member

Joining ICCD is simple and meaningful. To enroll:

1. Complete the Membership Application Form (available online or at the ICCD office)
2. Submit required documentation (e.g., proof of residency, family details)
3. Pay the annual membership dues (if applicable)
4. Attend a brief orientation session to learn about ICCD’s mission, governance, and programs
