The ICCD Youth Sports Committee is dedicated to nurturing strong, confident, and disciplined young Muslims through athletics grounded in Islamic values. Under the leadership of Br. Arthur Khalid (Abu Khalid)—a respected coach, mentor, and owner of Fits & Fight Gym, the committee aims to provide a safe, structured, and empowering environment for our youth.

Our mission is to help young people build physical strength, emotional resilience, and spiritual character through sports and self‑defense training inspired by the principles of discipline, respect, and excellence found in our Islamic tradition.


What We Offer

About the Chairperson

Br. Arthur Khalid (Abu Khalid) brings years of professional experience in martial arts, fitness training, and youth development. As the owner of Fits & Fight Gym, he has dedicated his career to helping young people unlock their potential through structured training and positive mentorship.

His leadership ensures that ICCD’s youth sports programs are safe, engaging, and aligned with Islamic values.
